Anyone been to Amsterdam? Would you recommend 3 nights there? We have some time in mid-April. Open to recommendations for other European cities too. It'll just be the two of us.

I enjoy Amsterdam. In fact, a used to own a summer timeshare week at a now defunct resort that was 20 minutes by train from Amsterdam. It is well worth a visit.

However, there are European cities I would rank above Amsterdam if you have not visited them - Venice, Prague, Tallinn, Vienna, Rome, Krakow, and Dubrovnik.

We were there in Oct last year for two full days. It's an interesting city and not too large. Three nights should give you a pretty good idea of the place. We love the museums (Rijks, Van Gough, etc.), canal boat ride and taking walks. There should be plenty to see.

Try using Trivago. That will show you pricing for sites other than just priceline. Or are you trying to bid for a hotel?

Amsterdam is beautiful and we had visited there for 2 nights and 3 days. Everything was good from canal cruise to shopping at Amsterdam's shopping streets as well as food. Ah, the beer tasting was another nice experience that we got from there. I was very much interested in Ann frank house from a long time, so didn't miss that opportunity. Grabbed a lot of info from various online resources like https://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowUserR..._Province.html and http://www.tripindicator.com/anne-fr...amsterdam.html
.. Truly, the trip turned out to be great.
