Wound up with more of the Taurus. Soon as it popped up on my Droip app, I pulled the trigger.
.
I saw it pop up, Went and checked my stock came back and looked in, Got a pop up that said Sorry Steve bought out the stock
Now would you believe with all the wine I have can you guess what wine I had yesterday and today. Yep Taurus. Wine was good but it was loaded with ferment

Ferment??? It has tartrate crystals in it, but that's a good thing.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”
“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

I should have known from my other bottles to use a screen aerator. Wine still tastes good and for $9 a bottle it is a great find. Just think you can pay for a name brand like Yellow tail or buy Taurus which you may not heard of. Most people after having Yellow tail will pick a no name brand and in this case they picked right.

The purple crystals (tartrates) indicate the grapes were not allowed to overripen and that the fermentation was not rushed. I don't mind seeing them at all. You'll almost never see them in the big mass produced wines.
One of the nice things about wtso and wine.woot is that they have some unknown stuff that's being sold cheap enough to take a chance. I especially like wine.woot for that purpose because of winedavids involvement in what they put on the site. I've come to trust that anything they put up is going to be decent wine; it may not be my style but it won't be crap. When I see something there that's in my price range and that piques my interest I can usually tell from the discussions whether or not it's something we would like.
wtso is a bit more of a crapshoot. But the first time they offered the Taurus I had a real good hunch that it was going to be a decent tempranillo. So I bought some and not onl was it decent, it was outstanding for the price.

IMO WTSO is way better than wine woot. I find better deals and better wines on wtso. Woot sells more wines from California. I like mostly wines from Italy. Also the CS is very good on wtso, I have hardly had any problems with them but the 1 or 2 times I did they took care of it even on a wine I bought 6 months before
