cmv's pool is really for little kids, and the resort is great for golfers but most people want those waterparks, my daughter went for one night to Mt Olympus hotel, cost was about 100 for the four of them and they got 4 passes for two days, which paid for it easily.

It does make you wonder how the motels get that deal with the water parks.

The hotel must get the $100 for their room, so the water park is giving away the passes?

It is much easier for the owner to deed it back at this point.

Last year of assessment is between $1000-1100
        Maint fee is $1076
        Transfer fee is $450

So even if it is "free" the taker has to pay these fees.

They can just give it to Bluegreen for a small fee ( you stated $250?) and be done with it.

I have contacted the last three Sherry posted, one bought, never ever made a reservation paid the second SA, wanted you to pay the third (which was late) and half maintenance fees and transfer.
second guy wanted you to pay third assessment (late), transfer fees, maintenance fee, and give him 2500
third guy was up to date with fees, wanted 2500
in any of the cases you were about 2000 or more out of pocket, and by the time it closed you were probably close to receiving the maintenance fees again.

Pat, the motels pay a fee to the water parks, such as $56 thousand for the season. the waterpark owner still get the parking fee, the locker rental fee, the extra cost rides, and the concessions The person that owns ount Olympus now owns about 50 motels in town, and is intent on putting Noahs Ark out of business. The Dells is the real game of monopoly, with 8 famulies controlling almost everything. If they don't own the business, they own the land under it.

Wow. That's a lot of money. It does seem to be a house of cards ready to tumble!

Dells is a small town, with three million visitors a year who spend over a billion every year on tourist attractions, lodging, etc. I believe over half the kids in the school district are entitled to free lunches because of the poverty level, most of jobs pay minimum wage, no benefits.

and that article is a few years old, he keeps acquiring hotels, and adding businesses, and he is regarded as an outsider, he wasn't born in the Dells. I believe he has a brain tumor again.

That just boggles my mind. He's been there since he was four years old!

But I grew up as a corporate gypsy. I did get back to my parent's home town every year as a kid (population under 1000 at that point), so I know that's how it works, but never could get my head around that approach to life.
