New Orleans over Christmas

Has anyone been to NO over Christmas week/day? What did you think?

I was there the day after Christmas and got snowed in for New Years there. NY was hit hard with Snow so the airlines canceled all flights there.
One of the best trips we ever had in NOLA, Weather there was comfortable, everyone was cheerful and we got to see the Baby New Year come down Live. Living in NY we have never gone to Times Square to see the ball drop. 1 it is way to cold and 2 it is to crowded
