  • Can RCI see what sort of room you're reserved for on DVC points booking?

I tried looking via iPhone as well as online, but cannot see anywhere on RCI website what kind of 1BR I have booked (I could not hold the room, it was either "Cancel" or "Confirm"). If it isn't a Savannah View in Kidani, I would prefer to take my chances and go another week. But I can't see what kind of room it is, though some other people know how.

Do you think RCI can see it?

normally if you go to cancel the room on the second screen where it asks for confirmation it will show the code either, SAV = Good or STD = bad

Yeah, I tried that but it doesn't show any details.
      Oh well!

Maybe I will call RCI to see what they can see...

And you should probably bring your own linens.

Most of the AKL units in RCI seem to be Savannah.
Apparently DVCrs book the cheaper Standard views which leaves more Savannah's for the exchangers when DVC does their depositing.
              Go figure.

Not sure why DVC won't do like Marriott and put exchangers in the crappiest views and upgrade their owners.
Maybe because they only seem to deposit a full week instead of just a few nights.
