  • What is it About Bluegreen?

Relative to every other version of timeshare, is there a reason why so many more on this website are trying to get rid of their Bluegreens?

Granted, it's not an avalanche, but that seems to be the only "brand" that people are coming about.

No Wastegate. No Festiva. No GPP. No Marriott. No Disney. NO HGVC.

    etc.

Looks like a lot of Bluegreen owners out there

      Bluegreen Corporation, is a leader
      in the vacation ownership industry.

Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc. (Bluegreen Vacations), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bluegreen Corporation, manages and markets the Bluegreen Vacation Club®, a flexible, points-based, deeded vacation ownership program that connects over 175,000 owners with over 60 Bluegreen resorts in more than 40 popular destinations across the continental U.S. and the Caribbean.

Most recently, Bluegreen Vacations became the Official Vacation Ownership Provider for Choice Hotels®, one of the largest and most successful lodging companies in the world.

Because this is the go-to forum that is open to the public about Bluegreen.
Otherwise they'd have to join one of the yahoo or Facebook groups which are private.
Boca invested a lot of energy into the Bluegreen threads.
This is how things are supposed to work with google ya know. :roll eyes:

And the big name TS's don't need to necessarily be given away at rock bottom prices.
They still have some value to them if someone puts in a little effort in moving them.
Even if the only effort is picking up the phone and calling one of the brokers who specializes in these brands.
Bluegreen is a big name in the TS world but in the real big world nobody knows who they are.

it is a function of this forum that more people post BG than all the others combined

          &

          Search Engines

          &

Folks have given up trying to get rid of all but a few big-name timeshares

Well yes we have a lot of BG owners here thanks to Google and also steering people here from
some of the other groups that we are in.
Not you of course but many of us own BG including me.

I always encourage those BG owners I meet in other forums to come here and hang out.
I'm sure word gets around too that this is the place to go for BG info.
            Now don't scare them off.
