Are there legitimate timeshare listing companies

And by that I mean a company that is not a scam. I've always heard that I should NOT pay any up front fees to sell a timeshare but that is all that I have found. Have any of you actually used a company to sell your timeshare that you were happy with and that you now recommend to others? Any other advise as to how to sell 2 Wyndham contarcts?

We've been trying to give away 6 weeks, free, for a long, long time.

But, here, TUG, redweek, eBay, craigslist, Wyndham sites, your resort newsletter or bulletin board.

Like I said on the other thread, keep us posted, as a lot of people would like the answer.

If you stick around here for a while and become a member then you can list your timeshare here for free.
A few have sold their timeshares or given them away right here on this site.

Brand new to this site today. Looking for a way to sell timeshare at Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch, San Antonio without getting ripped off by scammers. Is there a way to list it that includes them taking care of aspects including closing, title transfers, etc? Thanks for listening!

The closing can be done by closing companies. That's a minimal problem. Getting it sold is often difficult. The weeks on the resales market for any one resort will sell first if the price is the lowest. Many owners think they can get a lot of money for their timeshare and that is rarely the case. While the resale market is coming back some as a whole, it is still where the supply of resales far exceeds demand. There are some good guys out there- one posts here, but the bulk of the resale outfits look for a fee and don't care if they sell anything.

Try ttshelp.org be careful if contacting this outfit posted by a first time unknown poster posting from the timeshare scam capital of the USA

I have also used them with good results.

For the NC Outer Banks, there is a good local storefront company that also has a web presence, Outer Banks Resort Rentals, which also handles resales. It was established back at the dawn of timesharing by the late Marvin Beard, and is now on its third ownership, but still reliable. There are also some local timeshare resale and rental specialist companies in other local areas.
