  • So many II Issues

Wow, it has been SO hard getting my newly purchased week into II and joining II...I honestly think it took about 12 calls and everyone I talked to had different answers until I finally said I needed to speak to a supervisor and within 5 minutes I had my member number...

Anyhow, now I log into Interval and they have given me weeks for EVERY year so 2008 is also showing up, but I only own an EOY Odd week...so I guess I have to call back again but now I am almost afraid to after they finally set it all up! I am afraid they'll mess up my real weeks now and I also have some pending ACs for 2007!

Is this how II usually is?

I have 3 EOY weeks in my account and they show up as yearly - I just left them there and when I have used my 'actual' week I use the weeks that aren't really mine to search with....

Same for me with the EOY weeks. I actually called a VC when I added them & she said that's just how their system works. It doesn't distinguish between every & every other type ownerships.

Those phantom ownerships come in handy for doing searches, though. I own a total of 10 weeks but some are EOY. Between the weeks I've deposited elswhere & the off weeks I don't actually own I have to keep a cheat sheet posted near my computer! I always have to double check myself when I do an online exchange to be sure I'm using a valid week in my account.

That's odd. I have been with RCI for years and recently purchased a timeshare that trades with II. I actually set everything up online and deposited the week. All II did was verify with the resort that I was the owner.

II does this because sometimes an EOY week is good for both even and odd years.

I own a EOY even but don't get use till April. So I can use it april (even) till march (odd). If II didn't make EOY resorts, they way they do, I'd have trouble reserving my Even TS in march of odd years.

PS my biggest complaint is I own multiple weeks at a couple resorts. II just can't figure that out. If I deposit a week, II blocks out that resort and year as used and I can't do anymore online search with that resort and year. ( II can and does help me via the phone, but I'd prefer the online reservations.)
