    Lufthansa required a recent negative test to even let Americans or others on the plane to fly to the US. Test results were closely scrutinized in Munich before boarding for the US. They did not even ask for the vax card. Passengers deplaning at Dulles were spot checked on the jetway for their negative tests by US officials.
