    I am so so sorry to hear this Frank . In NC we have lots of storms and disasters, but I've never had to deal with any natural disaster. In 1984 I did go thru a house fire . I'm hoping that you did have insurance. It saved me. These are awful times we are going thru. Big hugs

    It rained most of today. The smoke from the fires is a wet smogy smell. I hope it put the fire out.

    Yep. It really F#@$@#ing Sucks. My basement egress window well drain could not handle the influx of water. Not 2 feet like you got Frank. Enough to be a PITA. I consider myself lucky. Some people in my development their window wells gave way and got flooded with mud and gravel.
