lost all my bookmarks (favorites)

something strange happened with Firefox, couldn't open my emails, and many other things, and ending up restoring computer to previous date. all my bookmarks are gone, and I am having trouble setting up new bookmarks. I can save to unsorted bookmarks, but I can't get them into categories, and I can't move them out of unsorted bookmarks into bookmarks menu. any suggestions?

I've had the same problem with categories. Try saving them to the bookmarks toolbar and grouping them under headings by grabbing and moving them under those headings.

nothing comes up when I open bookmarks toolbar, I have to go to unsorted bookmarks. somehow, I set up mail, but can't get my timeshare bookmarks together, and need to do banking and medical categories which hopefully I can remember well enough

have been able to bookmark a few, but they are in unsorted, and can't get them into the bookmarks toolbar. I have had trouble working with the toolbar in Firefox, more so than any other program.

Now I can't get a folder in the toolbar. Try loading the menu in the upper right hand corner and see if there is anything there that might help you out.
