    Happy with SFX Again

I was looking for the SFX site but didn't find it so will post here....

We have a prime ski week at Grand Timber in Breckenridge. We have had three exchanges with SFX to date and have been happy with the exchanges we have received, as well as the incentives they provide to receive our deposits. We have exchanged into Sloane Gardens, London on a bonus week during the summer. A 2 bedroom in Massanutten, VA over July 4th. We just received an exchange into Christmas Mountain over Easter.

SFX always works to receive our week and meet our expectations, which they have consistently done.

Thanks to Elena for working with us to meet our expectations again.

Glad to hear you got a Christmas Mountain unit.
I own there and am hoping to do some exchanging thru SFX to other places soon.
    Thanks for sharing.

Glad you deposited it. We are in the Midwest and are not always up for traveling out east or down south so it is nice to know if we want to stay close they will have something to suit our needs. Our kids still like the Dells so we're taking them where they want to go this time - Knuckleheads! LOL

We have heard the units are updated so it will be nice to see the updates.

Keep Traveling, I think you will be happy. If they can't make an exact match they try to offer something that is similar and will still meet your expectations. It's worked for us thus far.

Nice. - I gave them an October check in Timbers unit. We'll see what I get in return.

I've done well with my CMV in Interval, exchanging for a bunch of Orlando Marriott 2 bedrooms and an oceanfront 2 bedroom unit in St. Martin.

I assume its still free to join SFX at a basic level. I recommended a fellow timeshare owner to join, as he wished to holiday in San Francisco and assumed that if anyone can get him there they could. However the sales there tried to upgrade him for $1,800 and that put him off he told me.

Charlie2 - Thank you for your post. I am surprised to hear this. We clearly still have a FREE Gold Membership, where a member only pays an exchange fee, and no annual membership fees. If you submit your application online, there is no agent interaction offering an $1,800 product. Even if you called in and spoke with an agent, they will gladly sign you up for a FREE membership, and also discuss the money savings, and additional benefits of a Diamond membership, and there is even a 6 month FREE trial for a Diamond Membership, that even if you stay Diamond, the savings are far greater than a Free membership! There is "nothing" at sign up that is $1800. 1-6 months after a member signs up, our membership department offers various packages that can include cruises, multiple weeks of accommodations and other money saving options that save several thousand dollars compared to retail, for a higher fee structure. But... nothing is offered to anyone when they sign up for $1,800. It seems there is some confusion about what was offered?

    Thanks,

Mark I was surprised when he mentioned this. He made a call that must have been around six weeks ago. As you say clearly some confusion I shall tell him to make contact again.

    Thank you
