89 TransAm GTA for sale

This vehicle was stolen, but recovered. It was being stripped and headed for the scrap yard.

I've been rebuilding for several months. Amoung items replaced: intake system, transmission, steering column, carpeting, front seats.

Has new radiator, cat converter, MAF sensor and battery.

Still has some faults, but I have plenty of other projects going.
Ready to let it go. Asking $8,000.

Anyone seriously interested, contact me and we can talk.

Driving around town...

or flying down the highway... Picture yourself in this.

T-tops, leather bucket seats...

What does everyone think of the color, with the gold wheels?

Sorry for the delay. I forgot about looking at THE YARD SALE lately.

After some arm twisting, our son who had flown home from AZ, decided to hang onto it for himself.

His employment will end soon so he'll be back in VA looking for an income. He plans to continue upgrading defects to make the TranAm a show antique.

Exclamation Unless it is a classic

Not much of a market for old muscle cars except for trading. I would guess the car would get about 14 miles to the gallon. Not very economical. But it is a classic.

The object of having... it is hot looking. The value grows after age reaches 20 years. With some body work, it could go for as much as $12k.

btw... 350 Engine, 16 -17 city, 20 highway... and of course that's "getting it"! Never tried Hypermiling with it. Can't imagine that! ... A get down the road GTA, just creeping along trying to conserve on fuel. That would be a good vehicle to try that I suppose, but I enjoy the speed in that car.
