Hopefully, if you'd like, I can be of help as I am a (mostly) native Bostonian.

Doug, the photos are fantastic, and so helpful. Looks like you got some great clear weather while there. Boston is one of my favorite cities, and I have been dying to go back there again, but as the economy shrinks our available options, it looks unlikely that we will ever make it....so thanks for allowing me this cyber visit.

Thanks Doug!

Great photos....I've never been to the Custom House, and those pics sure make me want to visit. Boston is a great city!

The weather was prefect except for the last day when it rained. We used that opportunity to watch an IMAX movie and visit the New England Aquarium. Other than having to share the theater and Aquarium with a few thousand school aged kids, it was still a good day.

Doug, I would also like to post your picture link on the Marriott Board.
I am always soooooo happy to see your posts.

When I looked at your photos, I realized I stayed right across the hall - which was a great unit if u need to sleep 4 privately (separate entrance from bedroom and living room) - I notice your unit had the bath thru the bedroom.

Sounds just perfect! And the city is just wonderful...and getting to some of the historic sites away from city, all great things to do! Glad you shared with us.

Cool beans. I have only been to Boston once on a cruise to New England and it left me wanting more. I am actually going to be in Cape Cod for a week and then the Berkshires for another week and then I will end my visit in Boston for only 2 short nights. Since we are flying in and out of Boston I didn't want to miss another opportunity to stay at least a day or two extra. We are staying at the Custom House. I know it's close to the tourist buses that do the trolley stop thing in front of the Legal Seafood but what else do you recommend me doing with a 14 year old and 2 senior citizens. It's kind of a balancing act between the generations and I'm sandwiched in. I hope I survive it.
