Baseball Trip 2009 and US Open Golf Tournament

I will be going on another Baseball Trip with my son and his friends starting on Weds. June 17th and returning Sunday June 21st.

This is my 2nd year going on a Baseball Trip with my son. He and his friends have been doing this for several years. The idea is to see all of the MLB stadiums.

So Weds. June 17 we fly into Boston and see the Red Sox play the Marlins. On Thurs. June 18th we take the train to New York and see the Yankees play the Nationals. On Friday during the day we will go to the US Open Golf Tournament and at night we will see the Mets play the TB Rays. On Saturday June 20th we will be at the Phillies game where they play the Orioles and on Sunday we will be at Washington seeing the Nationals play the Blue Jays. We come back to Brookfield on Sunday at 7:07 pm.

Sounds like fun! Did you have any problems getting tickets for any of these games?

I'm not sure if there was a problem. But, as soon as the full schedule comes out, they find what teams have home games in an area...East, Midwest, South, and West.

Sometimes we can get the tickets from the Milwaukee Brewers and sometime from the teams we are seeing. And other times from places like Stub Hub.

Last year we went to Denver for 2 games, LA Dodgers for 1 game, LA Angels for 2 games, SD for 1 game, and Diamondbacks for 1 game. We also went to the US Open Golf Tournament in SD.

That sounds like something my husband would love to do. Maybe he can take some of his fantasy baseball friends with him.
