Searching forums restricted to over four letters?

Is there a reason for searches to be restricted to words that are four letters and more?

There are many acronyms in timesharing that are three letters and we cannot search for them.

It is set up this way normally because we use lots of 3-letter words that would not add value to a search NORMALLY.

I have reset the system so it will search 3-letter words now.

Except it doesn't seem to work....

I will need to figure out why but it is not allowing to search for 3-letter works like ken, RCI or TUG which are all on the site...

I'll try to figure it out...
