Broadway Melody Ballet (composed of "The Broadway Melody" from The Broadway Melody (1929)[10] and "Broadway Rhythm" from Broadway Melody of 1936 (1935), music by Nacio Herb Brown and Lennie Hayton, chosen and sort of arranged by Gene Kelly if I remember rightly -- he was not a musician but he knew what he wanted!)

This clip is only the second part, but it's the part I find most interesting, for two reasons: One, the extraordinary things they do with that banner/bolt of cloth Cyd Cnarisse is wearing, and, two, for how well they hide the fact that Cyd was way taller than Gene Kelly.
