Anybody book air with RCI?

Has anybody booked air, cars or cruises with RCI?
If so, how did it go?

I know you can use RCI points but are TPU's also possible?

I dont think you can use TPU's, but I have used my RCI points for air fare.

It went well, but there were some things I didn't care for. For example, I booked a flight directly from Frontier going to Orlando. For an additional $25 I was able to upgrade the seat to a different category that included 2 free suitcases, free tv on flight. When I realized that I also needed to fly home, I went to use RCI and the price was the same as it would be from Frontier, but because of my cost per pt, it would actually be cheaper through RCI. However, when I asked about getting the upgrade, RCI did not have that type of flight available, even though if I went throught the airline website I could have booked that type of flight. If I booked through RCI, I would have to pay $20 for each suitcase.

Now, my husband and son flew to Orlando on different days than my girls and I did. Since they were able to get by with just carry ons, booking through RCI was no problem at all.

Since we girls were there for almost a month, (plus we are girls), we couldn't get by with just carryons.
