Prizzma and direct exchanges with SVC & Raintree have arrived - Now seen using Safari

Only 1 1/2 years later, at appears that the ability to make reservations at SVC properties through Travellers Plus is now available online. I was able to check for a room at Carriage Hills for rememberance day, and see that there was availability and the number of points. Go to direct exchange, select connections, and then click book today on any of the available properties.

Keep in mind, that you may half to turn off your popup blocker for this one, as it opens up in a new window like the RCI portal. But it is there! This is one of the primary reasons I have stayed away from this feature, is I hated having to call everytime I wanted to check availability. This will indeed simplify my life!

edit - not working for me now....if I click on learn more, it take me to a new screen about the resort but if I click on 'book today' nothing happens.....

Will try again tomorrow.

They must have taken it down, because now I don't even see the learn more buttons are any of the resorts. I am on a different computer now, so not sure if that makes a difference.

Funny though how they reference RCI, which AFAIK it has nothing to do with this. An entirely seperate booking engine directly related to SVC's property. Sounds like a canned response to me, I would verifiy they are working on the correct issue. They were having problems with Hotweeks after the recent RCI upgrade, but that has now been fixed so it really makes me wonder if they think the problem is something else.

LOL, good catch gandalf! This was regarding another problem I had with the RCI portal that was fixed....I will look for the other email I sent regarding this problem.

I generally check at least once each week now to see what opens up for the weekend. It really is the only way I think I'll get value out of it UNLESS I plan on going for a week somewhere. I didn't see anything about Raintree, and this was the first I'd heard about them being on board. Although given their locations, there will be little additional benefit for the time being. Always good to have more options though.
