RCI cancels my vacation, 4 wks away, but comes through in the end

I am so happy that it worked out for you and that RCI came through pretty quickly. They were wise to make good as I seldom read the RCI posts but I saw your heading and felt terrible for you so read your story in the thread but they corrected it. People will read that too.

I think Halloween should be a blast, too. We're all wearing costumes, and really looking forward to doing some fun stuff......I looked through a bunch of pics from previous Halloweens, and many of the costumes were just incredible. We're all so excited, and can't wait to get there.....My only fear is that the town will be a bit too crazy for us older folks in the group. Lol

Thanks Frank.....I will try and get to your top 3. I took a peek at their menus, and they all look great! I just love pork chops, Yum! Lol. However, I don't think making a reservation is a good idea. Not sure of our scheduling with the various age groups, parties, etc. Maybe as we get closer to the date, that will change, tho.

My DD wants to try alligator, and I noticed that theres Alligator sausage on the menu at Cafe Maspero.

They moniter the internet. Last I heard it was 8 people full time. Yes it is good publicity for them to handle public disappointment. quickly. Glad they were able to find an acceptable alternate Angela.

I just heard from RCI, and they have reserved 2-1 bdrms for me at The Quarter House. Yay!

I can't tell you how happy and relieved I am. Not a two bdrm but so much better than having to cancel the trip.

I ranted and raved about RCI canceling on me, last minute, so now its only right that I give them credit for quickly finding me an acceptable alternative. I will say that they did in fact come through.......Just waiting for the confirmation email, to be sure that everything is in order.

& when they make mine right, I will give them credit, too, as I did for many years.
