New BG Owner - How does the RCI account get set up..?

New owner to BG. How and when does the RCI membership kick in. The link from BG's site is failing and can't get it to work.

I'm not looking to us RCI anytime soon but would like to learn how the site works and what could be available down the road.

We have 12K points, deeded at Harbor Lights in Myrtle Beach week 26.

Ok... 51 views and no one can respond to this. I guess I will just call RCI and get it set up. I figured I would be getting something in the mail by now from BG welcoming us as members with all this information. Fortunately I just went to BG's website and registered there and the account was ready to go, otherwise I wouldn't know officially that the transfer took place. Still no official nothing from BG via the mail or email or anything.

Did you buy resale? If you bought resale, you'll need to nag Bluegreen, not RCI, to get you set up. Sometimes when you call in the person will tell you resales don't get RCI -- this is occasionally true with very old ownerships, but the grand majority of resales come with an RCI membership. If you know yours came with RCI, just keep calling until it gets set up. Does take a while, though. We called every week until it got done.
