Has anyone heard from our NJ members?

The problem is not so much no power as being completely out of touch with what is going on around you. Just now looking at some of the devastation and realizing just how lucky a lot of us were. 30 minutes south of me is the beginning of the war zone.

    Welcome back Angela.

I did hear from Irene yesterday. Hanging in there. Now has power.

LIPA says 205K still without power. Down from over a million on Long Island.

    Thanks Pat!

Lots of people in my area are still without power, and I'm worried that the upcoming Noreaster is going to cause additional havoc. Besides the horrible inconvenience, its just too cold to be without power. The last couple of nights have been freezing, and its getting colder. Many here with generators can't even get gas for them. Its crazy! Sigh.

I'm just hoping that I don't lose power, again......
