I just booked a week at my Enchanted Isle for $199 for Sept. 1st.
That is half the MF's for that week.
One certificate down, two more to use.
This is going to be interesting.
And the certificates are $249 now. Still a decent deal if you want to go somewhere off season.

There was a guy OY who was selling these for $500 or $600 and actually people bought them.
Always an enterprising person. I guess it's probably not against the rules to rent these since technically you don't have an account to begin with.

I was waiting to purchase two on June 30. I had my eye on a 2 bedroom at Kingsgate in September over my kid's holiday weekend (Rosh Hashana) there was no upgrade charge when I checked earlier in June. The certs showed 2 one bedrooms and 2 two bedrooms available that week. RCI had sales on the 1 bedroom for 5 or 6 tpus but nothing below 12 on the 2 bedrooms. When I went to purchase on June 30 the 2 bedrooms were gone from the cert usage and the one bedrooms required $182 upcharge. Since I am only looking for the 3 day weekend I decided not to buy any.
I think that the inventory fluctuates from no upgrade to upgrade and then back down. I think when there are a lot of units there is no upgrade then as there are fewer the upgrade charge comes into play and then finally when the date is closer, no upgrade. They seem to be using some type of yield management software. I'm imagining similar to what they do with the TPU's. I figured I'm gonna use it for at least a long weekend so the $199 was still a good gamble and now I've got an excuse to get away on yet another beach weekend.

What is the access code?
You need to have an affiliation with Wyndham somehow like an employee of Century 21 or Coldwell Banker etc.
They provide it to their employees as a perk.
If you know a Coldwell banker agent maybe they can buy one for you.
