Brigantine Beach Club

Has anyone stayed here? I might rent out a unit & I want to be sure that the accomodations are what they are stated on the rhc website. They have an ambassador listed as a 2 bedroom & a presidential as a 3 bedroom. The studio is listed as a 1 bedroom? Has anyone had experience there?

Thanks,
abc

RHC has set up terminology that kinda goes with point values they charge (sometimes) and/or the legacy weeks that they sold. Everything you have stated about BBC is correct. I have stayed in a 2BR Ambassador and it is fine. This is a basic resort (not very resorty) but is right behind the dunes a semi-short walk across sand to the beach. I have had poor luck in renting it out in the past.

The BBC is 2 four story buildings ( I & II, how imaginative ) with 200 units between them. Of those 170 are full time residence appartments, 30 are timeshare units. Of those 30 twenty-eight are VRI managed. They consist of 19 two BDRM, 8 one BDRM and 1 three BDRM ( I feel honored to say that I have seen that 3BDRM in on-line searches a couple of times).

The units are large, clean and functional at least the 2BR that I toured. The "resort" has 2 pools. One of which is adults only. I think it is a hidden gem for those of us who don't require a Marriott and like a northeast beach location. Just a stroll through the dunes to the beach.

Maybe 10 minutes to Atlantic City for night life.

I can say we visited the resort this Summer by accident. We own at the Marriott 15 minutes away and wanted to go to the beach. We parked right down the street and walked to the beach. Brigantine was fabulous - my favorite of all the Jersey beaches we went to! I had to walk over to see what the big building was and went into the lobby. It was nothing fancy, but everyone is correct, it is right on the beach, unlike the Marriott which is a 15 minute drive.

Talking our stay

Everyone is correct.......we stayed there few years ago. Very basic but is very close to the beach and not the hassle and bussle of Atlantic City(parking issues) where we stayed last time in the northeast. We had a one bedroom and there was three of us. Plenty of room for us........I could see the water from the balcony of our unit if you looked for it. LOL.............Atlantic City just a few minute drive over the bridge.
