I don't think so. That option is not available with my Weeks account.

Sounds like a question for Feedback, the answer to which I probably have stored somewhere.

All I had to do was Fax a letter of request to Customer Service. The letter had to be signed by both of us. If I want to remove my daughter's name I have to send another letter signed by both of us. They did remove her name a few months ago. I compained loudly and they added it back claiming it was a computer update error. The guide could see her name and I couldn't but thankfully it was straightened out. I added her name about three years ago after reading about this option in TUGs threads.

For all of the five names you added to your account, are exchange confirmations printed in their names (rather than yours); therefore, not requiring G.C.?

Can the five names you added with your permission make exchanges directly with RCI after advising RCI which of your deposits these individuals could use?

Can the five names you added at any time without your permission book LAST CALL and EXTRA VACATIONS?

From the Terms and Conditions for Weeks:

No more than two co-owners of a single Vacation Ownership may apply for a single RCI Weeks Subscribing Membership. If a Vacation Ownership is owned by more than two persons, each person must apply for separate RCI Weeks Subscribing Memberships. RCI may honor instructions from any person listed in RCI’s records as a co-owner of Vacation Ownership and, in the event of conflicting instructions, RCI may refuse to honor any later instruction received.

That is what I have been told by RCI as well. Again, it may be different with Points, but that is the rule for Weeks, as far as I know. pranas- are you points or weeks?

Then that clouds the issue.

Normally you cannot rely on what someone at RCI tells you.

More Guest Certificate Clarifications

Hello all and thank you for all the wonderful information here on this forum.

Interpreting this as - after I confirm I should check directly with the resort to see if they are really going to want a guest certificate before I pay for one?

Many resorts have websites and respond to email. You can check with resorts before you confirm an exchange.

No. You should find out what a resort requires before you confirm an exchange.

There is a world of difference between the way some resorts operate and the way RCI operates. At a resort, the resort rules rule.
