Has any one used there benefits? I would like to book a free nightly stay. How do I go about doing this?

I haven't been notified of a benefit yet. I filled out the benefit selection form, but I'm not sure if benefits have been settled/distributed yet. I doubt it, since the settlement has been opposed and is under review, last I heard.
Anyone else have any info?

Nothing but a bunch of minor trinkets to make up for skimming the exchange system for rentals. The class action shysters sold their clients down the river. The only hope is that the judge took approval of the sellout / settlement under advisement and may reject it. We do not have the sellout lawyers to thank for that, but to the contrary Timesharing Today magazine.

Right, that's where I read it. So nothing available yet, and they were near worthless anyway. I opted for the one time chance to search with a week before depositing, so that should give you an idea of how little is available.

I opted out completely. The trinkets are nothing more than an insult.

Opting out gives you the right to sue as an individual (or in a separate class, I suppose). As I would not be doing that, I figured no harm in taking whatever pittance was available.

I read an extensive update here about a week or so ago. I don't believe that the lawsuit has been settled yet. I don't know if we received any paperwork or not but we wouldn't fill them out anyway because we don't believe in class action lawsuits. The only people who make out in these cases are the attorneys who start these lawsuits in the first place and get people involved. It will not be RCI or their members who benefit from these lawsuits but the lawyers will make plenty when the lawsuit has been settled one way or the other.
It is the same for all class action lawsuits that are advertised on TV and I get sick on my stomach when I hear these ads. The people who they want to join, are already facing enough health challenges and do not need more frustration yet by these lawsuits and false hope as they will not win the case but these attorneys will make their enormous fees again and the poor victims are still dying from whatever mistakes these companies may have made but most likely not on purpose so can they be judged guilty of a crime or negligence?
