Went through there the first of Oct after the hot summer of 2006. I was very disapointed. NO falls... everything was dry. Terrible place.

Tioga was great. Seen Death Valley, Zion and Bryce so not all was lost.

We've had some very nice things pop up in Rent Condos Instead this week including, well, CONDOS!

This one is more for the location than the "resort" and is available in weeks for exchange.

Well, Lawren, I toyed with joining you, but the other July 4th week showing up appears to be a phantom -- am wondering if it still shows them in inventory while they are "on hold" as opposed to confirmed by another member?

Anyhooo, how do you think the weather will be there at the end of September?

And yes, I was able to hold it without a credit card!! I shouldn't be booking anything that far out, but am enjoying the idea of going...

They still hit you up for a credit card when you hold with points. I found that out at 3AM when I switched it off the week I originally grabbed it with. Worked out a lot cheaper for me. At least enough that I thought it was worth running the chance of losing it between releasing and catching.

Interesting thought. That a week on hold would still show as a phantom availability.

Personally I'd much rather go in September, I think it would be warmer but I'm still dealing with school and sports schedules. So I took the July week and am a happy camper.
