Windjammer resort in Ocean Shores WA.

Anyone stay at the Windjammer Resort in Ocean Shores recently? I know it's not GC or 5* but is it at least a fairly nice place?
What is there to do in the area?

Most of the TS resorts in Ocean shores are on the beach. There may be significant area of beach grass between the resort and the ocean but it ocean front.

WindJammer is several blocks inland from the beach. It is on the local golf course. It's OK but if I go to the ocean I want to be able to see the ocean from the resort (if not my room) I don't think you can from the windjammer.

One other thing. Even if the Seattle area is hot, Ocean shores will likely only be slightly warm. It is often 10-15 degrees cooler than the great seattle area.
