Bond, James Bond

For the first time, we watched the new version of Casino Royale with the new Bond .... and last year we saw the Solstace movie....after seeing both of these I can say, big disappointment.

The new Bond movies are going for action like a Tombraider movie...JMHO....and have lost the appeal of Bond's character, tying him up in a guy who seems cold fish eyed.

Who is your favorite Bond actor? Favority Bond movie?

I actually liked the new Bond.. Finally an actor I'd be scared to make angry! He's not Sean Connery, but he's much better than some of the recent pansies.....

For a bit there, Bond was becoming pretty effeminate. No offense intended to either Dalton or Brosnan- but the character should be at least a little intimidating.

I agree with rikkis. The new guy isn't too bad compared to the last few Bonds. There will never be another Bond for me except Sean Connery! Hubby loves Bond movies and has them all. The new guy is as close to the Bond in the novels as I've seen since Sean. I actually liked the new Casino Royale but it sure was over the top in the explosion and violence stuff. I guess that's what movie goers want nowdays. It's a bit too much for my taste.

I like the new Bond too. But the best was the first, Sean Connery. My favorite movie was Goldfinger. The best female villian, although she turned out to be good.

Great lines in the movie:

Bond: "Who are you?"

Answer:"My name is Pussy Galore"

Bond: "I must be dreaming"

Bond: "Do you expect me to talk?"

Goldfinger: "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die"

Fans of Daniel Craig will no doubt be interested in the new Daniel Craig ice pops. I am not making this up.

I don't know. That image can be interpreted in more than one way.
