Spring Brook - Wisconsin Dells

I was looking through the resort directory on RCI.com and Spring Brook popped up as a resort in the Wisconsin Dells, #C060, as a Points Resort.

My understanding is that they have private homes that they rent out. I have looked at them and never been impressed, especially for the rates they charge.

The majority of these homes that I have seen are manufactured homes, and they are right on top of each other.

They have a couple of man-made "lakes" (ponds) there and the golf course which is literally right on the interstate. I played there once several years ago, they were trying to charge "resort" green fees for a less than stellar 9 hole course

I belive that they were charging around $25 for 9 holes to walk.

Does anyone know what they are doing there? Are they selling weeks/Points ownership in these modular homes?

I had thought these were all privately owned, so not sure how this would work for deeding, etc.

It just seems odd to me...

We stopped at Spring Brook and checked out The Northwoods Bar & Grille
back in April (when we spent 3 weeks in Wisconsin Dells). Nice clubhouse.

Spring Brook is conveniently located 1 mile from Interstate I-90/94.
Take Exit 89 head south on Hwy. 23 until the Wal-Mart intersection.
