Branson Buncha Rain!!!

Our entire watershed has gotten 6-10" of rain in the last 24 hours, and it's still coming down.

The three lakes in succession have all gone up 2 feet, even with a significant release at the dams trying to move it downstream before a disaster happens.

The lakes were already above normal pool, never down from Spring 2008.

This 24-hour runup is just like then.

I pray it stops. We don't need any more disaster areas.

Like last year, our docks are drawn all the way in and it is still a wade to them. The lake is still coming up and the dam is wide open most of the time.

THis is very nerve wrecking to watch isn't it?

About 9 years ago in a matter of a few hours Miami was under up to 6 feet of water in some places and I lost my car that I had just bought when I underestimated a "mud" puddle. Biggest mistake because I totalled the car in 30 seconds and broke 2 ribs while at it.

I hope all is okay for you in Branson.

Please dear Lord stop the rain in Branson. Amen.
