Fox Hills Mishicot - Studio Unit

Looking for some info on some of the units here. Specifically, a studio unit.

Has anyone stayed in these? Looks to be maybe a glorified hotel room?

I have seen it described as having a Murphy Bed and sleeping 2. I have also seen them as having a fold out sofa AND the Murphy, which I would think would sleep 4.

At any rate, seems like all 1 room, and no seperate bedroom.

Any help??

My wife and I stayed there 2 weeks ago in a 2 bdrm combined. The studio half had 2 double beds. The rooms do resemble a hotel conversion but they are not conversions.
We have stayed at resorts that might need a little cleaning and maintenance here and there but Fox Hills Resort in Mishicot needs some major work and cleaning. We have never asked to be moved to another unit when staying at a resort. However the unit we had was so bad that we asked to be put in another one after the first night. We were shown another unit but it was in the same shape and not worth packing and moving. Here is a list of some of the things that I can remember.

1. The carpets were so dirty that are feet and socks were black.
2. The dining room chairs were actually falling apart and were so stained and dirty that my clothes smelled after sitting on them. We covered the chair with bath towels.
3. The couches were like sitting on a board and in the same condition as the chairs so we covered them with bed sheets.
4. The air conditioner unit was very noisy and has no thermostat it was either on high or low so it was on or off. We opened the windows and doors.
5. No locks on the patio screen doors so they blew open all the time letting mosquitoes in (refer to #4).
6. No screens on the bathroom windows letting mosquitoes in and they needed some serious cleaning (refer to #4).
7. Two of the electrical outlet didn't work in the area where I setup the laptop.
8. The bottom bed sheet wouldn't stay on the mattress. It might not sound like a big deal but it was for me.
9. The patio floor had a few nail heads sticking up and was hard on the feet.
10. The outside pool was not working the last three days we were there.
11. I don't know what time of the year you are going but the fireplace did not work.

I hope your unit is in better shape than ours was.

My wife and I stayed there this summer with RCI. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with up too date furniture, kitchen and appliances,beautiful decor and no problems at all. Don't know what the other units are like but this one was perfect. Hope you enjoy. P.S. We don't even play golf. John and Lou Ann Mautner
