RESCIND RESCIND RESCIND! Do it NOW!

You don't understand and thats why you need to rescind NOW! Don't wait! For your specifics:

You may not get that "status" through resale but it doesn't matter. It isn't "free" - you are paying the inflated retail price (thousands!) to get it. It would take two lifetimes to ever get that amount of value out IF they didn't change the VIP rules (they can & do). It is NOT a value to pay for.

Once you own - resale or retail - cheaper bonus or owners offers are the same. No benefit to paying too much to purchase. None.

Never buy a week to mostly exchange. Buy to USE. An occasional exchange is OK but planning on exchange for the majority of your purchase / use value is a big mistake. It is not as easy as calling and getting a reservation as you would with a hotel. It requires planning 8-24 months in advance and being flexible with dates, unit sizes, locations - it is not as easy as they may have painted it. But the exchange system works exactly the same for resale as it does for retail buyers. You again get NOTHING for the extra dollars you pay at retail when it comes time to exchange. Nothing.

Absolutely not!!! They told you that? Total lie! You owe the annual fees if you never use or trade the week. You never get the fees back. You really are confused and have been seriously mislead. Rescind NOW and learn how this all works. But get out NOW - it is your ONLY chance and it runs out soon!

Plenty of people here can help you track down a good resale. That is the very least of your worries. What you need to do NOW is get out of a very bad purchase decision. You have very limited time to do that so stop asking questions for a few minutes, find the information on rescinding your purchase, follow it to the letter & get out of this bad deal! Plenty of time for questions and to get a good deal after this one is safely canceled.

You asked - we are giving you the bottom line - GET OUT OF THIS "DEAL" NOW or you will regret it in a few days when you will own it and be one of those resale sellers trying to get 10% of what you paid and unable to do so. Get out NOW!

We saw the Nantucket thing when we went back after the purchase to look at the village. They never said anything about it to us during the presentation. So I can't answer.

What if we can get anyone Stormy Point to answer. But we are sending the letter today.

Your question is answered in post #42 at:

All the documentation states the if we give our week back to them the reimburse the maintenance fees. I have read on other sites that this a new thing the industry is doing to alleviate some of the criticism. The ownership is in my fiance's name. He's at home going through the cancellation steps. I'm at work getting advice from you guys. But he can't get an answer at the cancellation number. He's sending the letter out today though no matter what. Today is day 3 of 5 days.

If the instructions state you need a cancellation number, then you better follow the instructions. I highly recommend you pay a few hundered dollars and get an attorney involved. Especially if you don't get an answer at that phone number. At least you'll get good sleep tonight! Good luck!

Our salesman called back and the cancel department opens at 10 central time. So hopefully this will be resolved soon.

When your fiance sends the letter, have him send it return receipt requested so that you have proof of the date that it was sent.

Good luck. You've been given good advice here and I'm glad you found this forum in time.

If you need me to run over and break some kneecaps, let me know?

I am in off-season, waiting for Spring Training.
