best ticket prices
Does anyone know of any special deals or promo codes for Williamsburg tickets ? I need to buy 7 for this year's trip so every little bit helps. Best deal I've found so far is the Busch Gardens Williamsburg Bounce Ticket.

If you are a AAA member, check out their ticket prices. In the newsletter I got about a week ago, they were selling many of the same tickets that are offered through the tourist websites. AAA may be a little cheaper, but I didn't compare prices because we aren't going there this year. In the past, the best deal for us was the pass that allowed 7-day access to the Williamsburg colonial area plus Busch Gardens/Water Country. It didn't include parking at the parks, though. Try different combinations of ticketing. If you aren't planning on going to Jamestown or Yorktown, don't pay for a ticket that includes those sites. One year, I had thought about buying one silver passport (that included parking at Busch Gardens and Water Country) and the regular 3-for-one passes for everyone else. But the extra cost for the silver passport was more than parking for two or three days at the parks. Check out the current parking fees to determine if it's worth the cost this year. This is the site that I have used in the past to check out ticket packages: Go Williamsburg - Hotels, Tickets and Things to Do in Williamsburg, VA. My family absolutely LOVES Williamsburg. Enjoy your stay!

I'll be at Williamsburg Plantation with the extended family July 4th to July 11th. Dad took care of all the tickets so I'm not sure what kind of deal he ended up getting. When will you be there Tony?

For a family of four, that an extra $100.00 a day - much more than most people can afford when you look at the high cost of admission plus parking.

HOT !!! Didn't much notice any new shopping areas other than the place where Walmart, Lowes and others are. Drove by Parkside. Noticed that the Pottery Factory has begun a descent to oblivion.
