Talking I just pulled off my first big trip!

I have just pulled off my first big trip using a timeshare exchange, Marriott Rewards 5 day package with 120,000 Delta miles, and 4 free airline tickets.

Next Christmas we (DH, DW, dd16, & dd10) will be traveling from Detroit to Hawaii! We fly into Honolulu on Saturday Dec. 18th; spend one night in Honolulu, next day we travel to Marriott’s Kauai Beach Club for 7 nights in a one bedroom. On the 26th we go back to Honolulu and stay at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa for 5 nights using our certificate from the travel package. On the evening of the 31st we start the LOOOONG trip home (HNL – SFO-MSP-DTW). I only had enough miles for coach . The kids will not even have to miss any school!

Anybody know if Marriott owners have the parking fee waived at Kauai Beach Club Villas?

Man, I am so pumped!!!

Great Job!

I tried to plan that trip a few years ago, but it didn't pan out - so I'm impressed!

Sounds like a great trip - have fun. My daughter and her family now live in Clarkston, MI and want to get somewhere warm each Christmas break. So I understand how special this will be for you and your family.

Sounds like a great trip! We were at Kauai Beach Club Villas this Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed the location. There was a charge for valet parking, but a large conveniently located free self-park .
Car rentals were expensive, so I suggest you lock-in early, then periodically check rates.
Aloha!

I am not familiar with Marriott. Is it normal for you to be able to get free airfair with your package?

Marriott has Travel Packages that come with 7 or 5 nights at a hotel and varing amounts of FF miles depending how many Marriott Reward points you use.
