Are there any vacation village voyages members out there? Is this company legitimate or not?

I would also like more info on this program if anyone has it. I went to Daytona Beach this last weekend and was presented this program. $189 per year (no ownership, no MF). When you book within the next 45 days all locations are $299. Farther out times are $499 and $599 i think. Sounded good, but I was wondering how it was it "real life".

10,995 for 4 weeks per year
5,995 for 2 weeks per year
2,995 for 1 week per year

I'm guessing you could get the same weeks from RCI or one of their many outlets without having to spend 3k or more for the privilege. Skyauction seems to have the same prices without the big buy in.

We were presented the same program last week in Fort Lauderdale. Same terms and prices. The program did sound interesting if you can travel with less than 45 days of lead time.

The 45 days lead time doesnt matter to me. Some of his selling points were:

-Vacation village has contracts directly with all of the major developers (they went around RCI and others) so they have more inventory to sell. (He

-He showed us many places currently for $299 (including resorts in hawaii and others). To me these would not usually be available for $299.

-Obviously no maintenance fees ($189 annual membership fee) so if you did not use it for a particular year, that would be the only fees. More flexibility.

Salesmanship is one thing, but actual usage is sometimes is another. My biggest question is how available are these places in reality. It looked good on the website when he did it.

Two new posters one bringing up and another saying nice things about a vacation club. Makes me suspicious that some shill advertising is going on. Direct deals with major developers sounds very suspicious to me and I don't believe it. Just another vacation club con job IMHO.

tony-

i am new because i was trying to find out info on this Voyages program. I dont see it anywhere else. I dont know if this is good or not - i am definitely not advocating it by any means. i would like to hear from someone who has purchased this.

As of yet I have not heard from anyone who knows anything about it except for the original poster (shreckever).

I was shown this at (what I think was) an official "Vacation Villages" Welcome center inside the Plaza Ocean Club Hotel. Please dont take these posts as promoting anything - I just want info.

Skyauction has weeks for rent for $ 199. No membership fee and no big pay in.

thanks

tonyg - I also am private individual looking for information on this program. I am not trying to promote anything unless I have the facts to support. This program's viability is based on the inventory available and if you can travel with less than 45 days notice.

Thanks for the link to Skyauction as that appears to be a cheaper alternative. Vacation village voyages does require the big buy-in for the service.

We currently bought with the vaction voyage villiage. We have not recieved any kind of correspondence since purchasing, I am beginning to wonder how legit it is myself. In looking at the prices for a lot of the vaction spots, some of them cost more than the 299 promised. I plan to research further, will let you know what i come up with.
