I think I got burned on an Ebay purchase

I bought a Kinston Manor at Foxhills last fall, I took ownership Oct 2nd, from Dharmesh Patel (svacationman ebay ID). I believe he is out the country but I have been able to exchanged emails with him.

Here is the situation. The 2007 MF were suppose to be paid. It shows nothing due 2007 MF on the Independent Contract for Resale. MFs are billed at the 1st of the year in the amount of $386.00 + $25.00 late fee.

Who is responsible for the fees due for 2007? The title Co. Timeshare Freedom in Cleveland GA, Dharmesh Patel, the previous owner, or me.

This is one of the units I wanted to give away. I sure am glad no one took it.

If you used the unit in 2007, IMHO, you owe the MFs. But if you didn't use the unit in 2007, the MFs should have been paid by the seller.

PS there are several threads here and OY about the seller. He isn't with the company any more.

I didn't use it 2007. I will go OY and check it out.
