I'm finding that only the resorts with 75% or more of the weeks in white or blue seasons are ever available, even to us Premier members. One of the sales staff once told me at one of the owner updates "Good luck" when I said I was interested in Big Cedar.

First, are you a Bluegreen Member?
If you are a member of Bluegreen why

would you pay a RCI exchange fee to exchange back into a Bluegreen resort?
As a Bluegreen Points member if you book directly with Bluegreen you would have First choice at 100% of the Bluegreen owner inventory than what limited Bluegreen inventory that gets deposited with RCI. Remember RCI only gets what inventory that Bluegreen owners deposit with RCI.
RCI of course only gets none of the Bluegreen inventory that the Bluegreen owners use for their own vacations, their own rentals and inventory given to the other exchange companies.
I know that at CMV about 40% of the weeks are red and I have had very little problem making reservations if I do proper planing.
In regards to both the RCI weeks and RCI Points programs, IMHO you have to learn to use their programs and not let those programs use you.
