You will have my prayers for you and your family and to a positive outcome and cure. I think you are very brave to share your experiences and also to have the bilateral mastectomy. I think that's what I would want also in your position. God be with you on Friday and we look forward to hearing from you real soon.
Remember, as a nurse, to take the pain meds BEFORE you need them during the first couple of days!

Pam, I am so sorry to hear you are going thru this. As you know I am going thru this with one of my best friends. She had a double mastectomy Wed. and is doing better than I ever thought. I only hope you can do as well. She had a very large tumor and had several rounds of chemo b4 surgery, in a few weeks she will start radiation. Being a nurse I don't have to tell you the importance of positive thinking. Please be well, I pray that you will do well. You already have a good support system. When you feel better come back, we'll be here for you!!

Thank you all, prayers and toasts what I need now. I am ready to fight...well maybe not till after friday LOL....

I am gonna miss all of you...but I shall be back.......

My lotto players...keep playing..cause when I come back I am gonna pile on some points LOL....suzie no fair taking advantage of crisis to take the pots LOL.

Resort to Me....Thanks for the offer of donation....my hubby offered his to me as well....LOL, and my mom wished it was her not me..heavy sigh....I think I will pass on the donation though...BUT a donation to this site, since I am so fond of it might be nice..or to a Breast Cancer Cause!!! And yes, MEN & woman get breast cancer........please everyone check those breasts ( sounds kind of vulgar huh).....I found my lump...ironically my mammogram was scheduled for my hospitalization date May 7. ) They think I have caught this early...my abdomen and thorax scan show clean organs, that is good....won't know on the lymph nodes till friday surgery...( I will still be bezerk without breasts, right now I just want them gone...ugh).

Faust....I love the pic....thank you....showed hubby.....when I am recovered if you do not mind or have a copyright on it or such I want to have a tattoo of it done on me, is that okay with you? Using the pic I mean of course!!!

Shaggy....I am praying for your friend.....please hold her hand for me!!! Tell her I send my love even though she does not know me!!!

Thanks guys and gals you are the best.....your are all holding me up.....I'll be back and will miss you all so very much.....buenas noches....tomorrow is pack day, not vacation, hospital and family day...then Thursday hospital.....then friday my fight begins...thanks for thoughts and prayers and please keep me in them....till I return!!!! Stay healthy all, check those breasts, and be happy, savor each moment of life, laugh, smile and be happy my friends!!!!
