Where's the Trash

On Windows 7, under EMAIL I have
  1. Folders

A friend has Windows 98 and claims to be unable to locate the "Trash" Folder. Can somebody help with directions, please?

I all depends on the mail client that he is using. If using Outlook Express as Mail client then there should be a "Deleted Items Folder". Under Windows 7 I use Microsofts new mail client called Live Mail and that also has a "Deleted Items Folder".
Yahoo Mail and G-Mail both have "Trash" folders as do several other generic mail clients.
Have your friend check to see what mail client they are using..

Unfortunately that doesn't give us the info we need to answer the question.
It tells us that he is using Road Runner for his email but not what client he is using to get to his road runner mail.
It's not Yahoo or Gmail tho and probably is using the microsoft client and if so the "deleted" items will probably be put in a "Deleted Items" folder.

Bob - that's just their mail server info. the "client" is the program that interfaces with the server to send or receive mail

The question is what e-mail program are they using to contact that server. e.g., Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Windows Mail. Or are they using a web browser to access the mail server.

For example, I have a Comcast e-mail account. Most of the time I access that account using Outlook Express. I could also access it using Outlook if I chose.

Comcast also provides a web interface, so when I'm traveling I access the account using a browser.

Thanks.
