Check amazon.com. I purchased Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements 8 both for $69 with mail in rebate.

Here is a highly rated free software:

GIMP

GIMP Free Download - Uberdownloads.com

I like Picasa.

Have you tried (free) picasa from Google? Check it out. You may like it. I use it, and love the ability to make small adjustments, export pictures into lesser size files, upload to my picasaweb albums etc.

Picasa 3: Free download from Google

If you can get a good deal on Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements together than you have a good program to organize you photos and more importantly (imo) a good program for post processing your photos.
The same goes for Paint Shop Pro where Paint Shop Pro is a very good post processing program and it contains Paint Shop Organizer which is pretty good program for organizing you photos.

I use Picasa and Paint Shop Pro on my Windows 7 PC. Works perfectly.

While Premier Elements is a useful application, has nothing to do with photos or organization of photos -- it is for video editing.

Photoshop Elements does both post processing of your photos, and also includes a very good photo organization / indexing application. If you do not need a video editing application, there is no reason to buy the more expensive Photoshop Elements / Premiere Elements combination pack.

Another vote for Picasa 3. It's free from Google and I use it for all my ebay pictures as well as keeping my personal albums organized. It's easy to figure out and very easy to use. I've been using it since it first came out and now they are on version 3. Since it's free you've got nothing to lose by trying it before you spend big bucks on something else.

Kurt,
thanks for the correction. I only use PS Elements for post processing photos but don't use the organizer. Thought that the organizer was built in to Premier. Again thanks for the correction, didn't mean to send anyone in wrong direction.
