Jaco or Quepos? - Costa Rica

Hi,

I'm trying to decide which area is a better vacation destination to Costa Rica - the resorts are the Copacabana in Jaco and the Pueblo Real in Quepos... please let me know if you have any thoughts!

Thanks

Jaco is a busy place with night life, younger people celebrating whatever, etc. Pueblo Real is very quiet, closer to Manuel Antonio National Park, and more spacious. It is also about 5 km from Quepos proper, but you can get anywhere you want via inexpensive taxis that the front desk at PR will arrange for you.

I have stayed there several times and I am going again for 4 weeks in January. PM me if you have specific questions.

Eal - thank you so much! My husband and I enjoy a relaxing vacation - beach, pool, going out to dinner, sightseeing, etc.. So, it sounds like PR would be better for us... I also read that, on numerous occasions, prostitutes were "working" at the resort in Jaco..

Are there any restaurants at the resort or within walking distance? How is the pool? Also, what do you suggest doing while in the area.. it sounds like you really love it there!

Thanks again

Did you trade into Pueblo Real through RCI? Was it an easy trade? TIA.
