Carlsbad Inn is a great resort. One of my favorites.

PM me and I will give you the email address for the reservations manager. Ask her for a 3rd story oceanview.

They do give owners priority, but after that its whoever puts in the request first. Email her a week or two ahead of time.

The website says they closed on June 3 of this year. It's really too bad - we visited last year and it was very nice! Oh well, one place we won't be visiting this year.

It is with regret that we announce the closing of the Children's Discovery Museum on North San Diego County. Our last day open to the general public is Saturday, June 3, 2006.

The Board and staff would like to express our sincere appreciation to all those who have supported us over the past 11 years. The members, volunteers, donors, staff and all other involved have contributed to make the Museum the wonderful, exciting, educational experience it has been. Thank You.
