At Shorecrest I, oceanfront view directly faces the ocean. Ocean view is at the side of the building and your view of the ocean might be slightly obstructed.

The units on the sides of the building (facing "north" and "south") are smaller units. The "deluxe" units are on the ends of the building (facing "east" and "west") are slightly larger units. The "east" deluxe units are true oceanfront while the "west" deluxe units are facing the street, restaurant, and parking lots but are "deluxe" in the sense that they are larger than the ocean view units. So, when your reservation said "Unit type 1 BD DLX SUN", you got a deluxe unit, just not oceanfront.

I wish that BG had made the oceanfront units have a slightly higher point value but they did not so we have to live with it. (By the way, the oceanfront view is awesome!!)

In any event, as was said, we have all learned a valuable lesson.

I put a building floor plan drawing in the Photo section of the Bluegreen Yahoo group along with photos of a northeast oceanfront unit. I will try to attach the building floor plan to this message.

I think that on the upper floors, even the deluxe city view units could see the ocean through the side window and the bedroom window.
