At the employee meeting on Tuesday, no mention of any takeover, no comments from the new general manager.
On Wed, we heard the New New general manager had just arrived from Washington to take over the management of the rsort. all this seems odd if the ownership will change to DRI in one month.
the in house sales got an award for selling 81% of prospects in July.

The way I interpret your post is that some of it is about CMV and some of it is about New Orleans? (Sorry I am so anal trying to read this; others probably have no problem.)
The employee meeting was at CMV?
New General Manager referred to in first sentence is at CMV?
New New General Manager--is this person for the New Orleans resort?
Award for selling 81%--this was given to the CMV in house sales team? (not New Orleans?)
Access to 100 units next door--this is meaning at New Orleans?
As far as DRI, the Letter of Intent, is what has to happen by September 15, moving on to another level, I would guess; not that the buyout would be complete or a done deal, even. BG did put the halt on the purchase of another Myrtle Beach and another Gatlinburg resort, which was due to close on early September. But since they have already purchased New Orleans, it only makes sense for them to continue to ready it for opening for reservations. It wouldn't make much business sense to just let it sit, especially since the buy-out truly is far from being a done deal.
Another expansion that would also be on hold is to expand the Atlantic City resort. BG had big expansion plans there too.
