I can not watch the market today because I will be out but I put in a few crazy buy bids in case the market drops.

I found a website that lists stocks with good dividends.

Best Dividend Stocks | Dividend.com

I don't buy a stock because of the dividend, but for the right price and chart, I may do that. Some of them are pretty attractive.

Looks like a good site but I noticed it does not lst all the high payees,

I have a better site, but you have to pay for their service.

I found a stock the other day that wasn't too bad price, and would pay a nice one time dividend, something like $3.50/share. I may pick up some just before their required ownership date.

I just picked up GM at $9.85 pays a 25 cent Div and it is trading about a dollar above it's all time lows. If and when it bounces back it should bring in a nice return if it gets back up to the $30 to $40 range or at least it should double it's current price with in a year, I hope

I think I may pick up FSCI either today or Monday. $3.50 dividen for those on record next Friday. I am thinking that for that reason, the stock may rise next week. I'll sell next Friday or the following Monday.

I don't read this thread often but couldn't help the irony of the fact that it was started a few months ago with this comment from poor Frank, who probably knows that GE is trading in the 20s now....

It closed up over a dollar today at $29.64 and even though it is down from when I bought it. I bought it for the long term and it's Div still has been paying 31 cents a share. I hope that it goes back to it's $40 share price but I will not be waiting to see it if it makes it cause once it hits around $36-$38 I will be out of that Stock and will be looking for a new beaten up Company.
