I opened one of my 5 or 6 bottles of 1999 LaCrema 9 Barrel Pinot Noir and served it with a nice pork.

Had to open it as it is nearly a decade old, and had a shipment from California and a move from one house to another. Had to see if it was any good.

Now that is a fine wine.

But don't give the pork bones to your doggie... :nono:

Have any of you heard of THUMBPRINT CELLARS? I am not a pino fan AT ALL, but saw this on WTSO for a good price and the description was interesting so I threw my pino-loving husband a bone and purchased. All I can say is "WOW." I think it was $12 and it was lovely. I am really a zipping zin kind of gal, but this varietal by T-print was a real delight!

Thanks for the info. Ill keep that in mind. Im not very educated in wines. Is it the 2003 for that specific name or all 2003 Pinot Noirs?

Not much of a Pinot fan here. I did love how in the movie Sideways the main character espoused the greatness of Pinot and hated Merlot. His favorite wine, that he cherished, was a Cheval Blanc, oops, a Merlot, lol.

Now what do you do? What with the CA shipment and the house move you need to celebrate all things well done and test another bottle! Just to make space.

How much longer do you think these will keep?

It is not all 2003 that are bad but I have gotten stuck a few times and just stopped buying all 2003 from every where nno matter what type of wine it is.
