if you recall back in Oct they had there large bottle sale. We at the time I had ordered both The Ruffino Ducale Gold and the Tan label. I received the Tan label right away and about a week later got an email from Joe saying that they screwed up and did not have the Gold in stock. He said if I wanted it he can get it to me in Dec. I told him yes I Will wait. He started selling this because I had requested it a year ago. Any way I placed an order a few weeks ago and put a reminder in the box regarding the Ruffino that I still did not get. I got the delivery about 2-3 weeks ago but never opened the box. I was saving it for a big party at my house last night. Well I go to open the box a day before the party and was shocked to see they sent me the Tan label rather than the gold but I still paid for the Gold which is double the price. I sent both Joe and Justin emails. This morning Joe called me up apologizing for the mistake. He is shipping me the 3 bottles of the Ruffino gold and told me to keep the 3 Bottles of the Ruffino tan label which is over $120 worth of wine. Now that is what I call service.

Wow! Great customer service!

But let's face it, Frank--you're a great customer, too. It's not like me, El Cheapo Grande, demanding to know where my four bottles of $5.99 wine have gotten to.

Good for you Frank - it is nice to see good customer service and a company taking responsibility for their mistake.

I have also had great customer service from them. A class operation, usually hard to find in a bargain dealer.

Just got my wine, I am not going to open it for a few months but I hope it will be good. It got delivered on the coldest day of the year.

I am also concerned, I got a pricey bottle delivered today and it felt mighty mighty cold when I took it out of the box :(
