Depositing studios instead of bigger units.

We own at several point based TS. We can reserve studios for about 1/2 the price of 1 bd units. But I guessed that since I always want at least a 1 bd unit in return that I should deposit 1 bd units. BUT I thought this year I'd deposit 2 studios instead.

The results: The studios do have reduced trading power and I can't see everything the 1 bd see but for us ( who trade mostly in the shoulder seasons) we are seeing a huge number of 1 & 2 bd units at some really nice resorts. 2 bd units at Newport coast, 2 bd unit in Park city the first & second week of Dec ect..

I'm going to be depositing 2 studios from now on!!

Which points system do u own in?

I have studios, 1BR and 2BR Wyndham units in II - and the 2BRs definitely see more - but depending on your season of travel...I have to agree with you - in the shoulder season I see 1 and 2BRs with the studio.
