It may seem that way and seeing as I'm not a huge II fan, I get what you're saying. However, technically, it's not fraudulent until the end of November 2009. DVC/Disney's contract with II went through the end of 2008. DVC's system permits them to make deposits (on behalf of their members) of weeks checking in up to 11 months later. We did notice a dramatic decline in new DVC deposits during the month of December 2008 but they did still make new deposits until the end of December 2008. So it's still possible to see an odd, canceled exchange, DVC week reappear in II with a check-in date as late as the end of November 2009. It would obviously match against a search so it wouldn't show up online as available though. And it's still extremely unlikely, but still remotely possible and so, not fraudulent.
